By 2am, the entire world has moved on, the moon is full and bright again.
I stand alone in the shadow, watching impassive as the excited crowds fade back into the night.
The heartless wind rises, sends icy shards into my bones.
Savouring my solitude, I rattle the shutter one more time, rejoicing in a Dark that hasn't quite got it figured out.
Then, pulling my jacket close, I fade too.
